Principles of Peace Journalism
A. The social responsibility of promoting peace journalism: Taking as a compromise the defense and promotion of peace in the professional or volunteer journalists to disseminate information to the public service to manage solution to their problems, fosters local human development and generate citizen participation to include public policy demands by way of legality.
B. Social responsibility not to encourage conflict and violence: Avoid primarily political or ideological positions that distort the values of peace journalism in the management of information propagandistic language, crude and inciting violence and social confrontation and subject of human rights, dignity and privacy of individuals.
C. Social responsibility to warn a conflict: Report those events that affect a social sector, its causes and likely consequences that may confront a community and identify the instances institutional obligation to mediate and resolve potential conflicts.
D. Social responsibility reporting to influence human development: In peace or conflict scenarios, the duty to report all those issues, events, and individual and collective actions that positively affect the peaceful problem and developing human citizenship.
E.
